Preperation is everything and sand blasting plays a big part in the end
result of a good powder coating company.
we can blast with glass bead & aluminum oxide for small items up to
a metre long it is done in our blast cabnet .
we also cater for large items up to 3 metres in length in our dedicated
blast room.
Blasting with a suitable media can remove dirt,
mill scale, rust or previous coatings from a substrate, providing a
surface profile that gives good coating adhesion.
The blast media will vary dependent on the surface to be blasted and the
quality requirements of the blasted product.
Typically used media includes sand, steel shot, grit and glass bead.

Chemical cleaning of metal is just as important as the powdercoating itself.
This is the process that degreases the metal of all oils, grease and contaminants.
If this is not done correctly the powder finish will chip and flake in the
future.
We dip our metal in a chemical bath to remove any foreign bodys.
After this we then pressure wash the metal off and leave to dry.
The metal is then ready to recieve the powder of your choice.
